Plot Outline: Novelist Catherine Tramell (Stone) is once
again in trouble with the law, and Scotland Yard appoints
psychiatrist Dr. Andrew Glass (Morrissey) to evaluate her. Though,
like Detective Nick Curran before him, Glass is entranced by Tramell
and lured into a seductive game.

exclusive residential village.
Shopkeepers in Highgate, north London are seething after film crews
descended on the sleepy area causing chaos for new movie BASIC
INSTINCT 2: RISK ADDICTION. |
February 25, 2005: Sharon Stone told the
Associated Press that there will be a lesbian love scene in Basic
Instinct 2.
Stone had this to say about the controversial interrogation scene of
the original film:
"People still want to see some more of that," she said with a laugh.
When asked if that was the plan for the sequel, she smiled and
replied, "You can spend your $12 and go find out for yourself." |
| January 7, 2005: "Variety" reports that David
Morrissey (Derailed) has landed the lead male role opposite Sharon
Stone in Basic Instinct 2. Michael Caton-Jones will direct the film
with shooting expected to begin in March in London. |
October 13, 2004: Basic Instinct 2, the
sequel set to star Sharon Stone, is moving closer to the greenlight
after securing financing from German film fund IMF3. A filming date
has not been set yet, however, the budget should be more than $70
million.
Michael Caton-Jones is set to direct while an announcement for a
male lead should be expected soon. |
